Upset me and I'll cry.

Anger me and I'll yell.

Betray me and I'll leave.

Yet you hate me and curse me

On the belief that I'm not human.

How can I convince you?

What should I say?

I'm too stubborn to give up

You're too ignorant to understand

Yet here I am trying to get you to understand

And here you are trying to get me to give up.

Why do I care?

Why do I bother?

Your ignorance stabs me

Your insults upset me
